Stefany Bryan at The Viper Room

After over a year of venues being shut down, the music has returned! 

On June 24, 2021, I was able to walk into The Viper Room and photograph one of the most talented women I have ever met, Stefany Bryan.  It was amusing to me that the last band I shot before the shut down and the first musician I shot after the lockdown were at The Viper Room. 

It was both strange and invigorating to be shooting live music again. As excited as I was to get back into it, I was nervous that it would be too much, too overwhelming to be around so many people in such a small space after so much isolation. There were moments when I had to stop for a second and just breathe, but it wasn't as hard or as bad as I had feared. By the end of the night, I felt more like myself than I had in over a year.
